COMPETENCES / EXPERTISE

After completing a bachelor’s and master’s degree in microbiology, I developed expertise in molecular biology and biochemistry during my PhD, which focused on investigating the mode of action and optimization of peptides targeting bacterial two‑component systems to reduce antibiotic resistance in Gram‑positive bacteria. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the PYP team at CIIL, where I study the molecular mechanisms underlying the virulence of Yersinia pestis under various environmental conditions. My research aims to improve our understanding of host‑pathogen interactions in the context of current and future climatic changes.
